Kylie’s Industrious Botanical Vision and Inspiration
I had this styled shoot planned for months prior to covid-19 rearing its ugly head. Thankfully, the shoot was scheduled right before the pandemic swept across the US in full force. Ironically enough, I was supposed to photograph the models’ actual wedding in April, but wasn’t able to do so thanks to the coronavirus. They elected to get married in their living room instead, and ended up with so many amazing photos from this styled shoot as a memory to look back on.
My inspiration for this shoot came from wanting a pop of color after the long (seemingly endless) dreary winter season that we just had. Hannah with Petal to the Metal brought my floral dreams to life, and Victoria with Sweets and Treats by Victoria made the most amazing cake.
Junebug Wedding Tip
If your venue or decor is on the minimal side, going bold with your cake design or adding an interesting topper to your cake can be a great way to add a little pop of color and fun!
