Incredible wedding day fashion–we’re talking three different outfit changes—a jaw-dropping colorful Hindu ceremony, and a Day of the Dead themed reception. We’re a little bit obsessed with Juan Pablo and Manhar’s Indian-Mexican fusion wedding at Hacienda Uayamon. The couple hired planner Adda Solis–who studied Indian weddings just for the pair–to help their multicultural dreams come true.
The grooms looked dashing in their Sabyasachi and Tarun Tahiliani outfits, which matched the bright red, pink, and blue Hindu ceremony. Not to mention the colored smoke bomb portraits that Junebug member Carlos Elizondo captured oh-so-perfectly.
This is truly one of the most imaginative weddings we have ever seen. Keep scrolling to see intricate Papel Picado banners, traditional Indian dancers, and Mexican-inspired face paint.

A Multicultural Weekend at Hacienda Uayamon
We wanted our wedding to be a multicultural experience (we are a Mexican-Hindu couple), not just one day. A weekend full of celebrations in which our cultural roots were present in a very significant way, full of colors and emotions.
Why Finding The Right Wedding Planner Is Important
The most important thing for us was finding the right wedding planner. We both live in Asia, and planning a wedding in Mexico without the right help would have been impossible. When we met Adda, we knew we were in good hands. She stood there with us even in my worst bridezilla moments. She was passionate, creative, and a fast learner. It was her first Indian wedding and she got certified on Indian weddings so that she could bring more ideas to the table. Her team is outstanding and our wedding was such a success because of her. Our one piece of advice is to find the right wedding planner–the one that gives you peace and comfort.
A Day of The Dead Inspired Reception
We decided to incorporate elements from one of the most well-known traditions of Mexican culture–the Day of the Dead. The reception was full of those iconic elements–centerpieces with marigold flowers, Mexican sweets, confetti, and skulls adorned the magical night. We even hired a makeup artist to paint our guests’ faces like “Catrinas,” kind of like the “Coco” movie.
