Stunningly Tropical Blue Venado Wedding
Summer may slowly be coming to an end, but that’s not going to stop us from obsessing over tropical destination weddings. Jessie and Sage’s Blue Venado wedding has everything you could want in a Tulum wedding–including a seaside ceremony, a party under disco balls, and a late-night taco truck. Planner Sofia Garcia Weddings truly did an amazing job of transforming the private wedding venue into a Pinterest-worthy boho affair.
It’s hard not to dream of warm afternoons on the sands of Mexico when looking at these beautiful photos captured by Maricarmen Arcos. So what are you waiting for? Keep scrolling and get those suitcases ready because there’s an airplane ticket waiting for you.

I wanted my wedding day look to be as effortless as possible. Finding the right dress was really important to me, and Grace Loves Lace delivered more than I could have hoped for. I loved my Edie dress SO much! Its mix of a classic silhouette, open back, and tassels were perfect for me and the style I was going for.

I kept the song I walked down the aisle to a secret from Zach until he heard it playing. Actually, my sister is the only one I told ahead of time! The song was Annie’s Song by John Denver. It has a lot of significance to me as it was a song my grandfather whistled/sang to himself all the time. He and my grandmother—who I was extremely close to—passed when I was in high school, so it was my way of bringing them both into my day. Zach knew the significance of the song, as did all of my family who was there. It was so magical for me to walk down towards my new husband arm in arm with both of my parents listening to that song being played.

Lucy truly was incredible. She and her team made our day so effortless for us. I’m no dummy to think it was all sunshine and rainbows for them, but their work to make our day as amazing as it was, we will be forever grateful for. “If I could do it over again I would have a destination wedding”, was something I heard all the time before our wedding. People seem to think it’s easier, and I’m pretty sure they only reason people have that notion is because of amazing coordinators and their teams
