Here at Junebug, we’re all about personalizing your wedding and making it unique to who you are as a couple. Regan and Jack’s vibrant outdoor wedding did just that as the pair laced up their rollerblades and skated around El Paso in their wedding attire. Aside from the most epic wedding portraits–captured beautifully by Abby Jo Photography–the special day was also complete with DIY florals from Flower Moxie, an emotional ceremony, and some delicious dessert options–we’re talking pie and cake. So keep scrolling to see how these two lovebirds let the good times roll (literally).

DIY Bouquets And Florals
To save money, we decided to order fresh flowers and put our own bouquets together. It was the best decision ever. We ordered fresh flowers from Flower Moxie and picked them up at a warehouse. They sent us so many tutorials and videos that were so helpful. The day before the wedding, my bridesmaids and I had time to arrange our bouquets and boutonnières for the groomsmen. I’m happy we chose to do it this way!

Soaking Up Time With Those Who Could Make It
We loved so many things about the day, but getting our photos taken was one of our favorite parts. We finally got to be together, love each other, and be close while Abby and Eva captured our love. During our ceremony, our pastor invited us to look out to our family and friends who were there to support us. We had to cut down our guest list towards the end, but we were able to have our closest people with us.

A Vibrant Outdoor Wedding At The Legacy Building
Our photographer mentioned The Legacy Building when we were searching for a venue. We went on a tour and fell in love! The whole place was stunning, and the family who owns it is so sweet. Tabitha was so easy to work with, gave us great ideas, and was so flexible when the pandemic got in our way. We loved how everything came together, and our style went right along with the venue.

Congratulations again to Regan and Jack on their vibrant outdoor wedding! Big thank you to Abby Jo Photography for sharing the special day with Junebug. To nail your own perfect DIY “I do’s,” check out our guide on planning the perfect DIY wedding!

Two gorgeous brides in two very different bridal gowns were the creme de la creme of this Springdale Station sunset wedding. With the love for each other as their centerpiece, wedding planner I Do! Wedding & Events decorated this old train station with things they love—warm-toned flowers, Rupi Kaur poetry, and a triangle altar arch. Plus, they ended the day with tacos, which is always a great idea.
But we have to pause to gush over their attire—one bride wore a beautifully embroidered veil to match her simple, yet elegant bridal gown. The other bride wore a stunning strapless bridal dress with chiffon detailing. And we do love a good outfit surprise—but we won’t spoil it. Scroll down to see the details of this gorgeous Springdale Station sunset wedding, captured by Junebug member Nikk Nguyen Photo.

A Truly Personalized Wedding at Springdale Station
The ceremony was filled with both meaning and tradition: Rupi Kumar’s words really resonated with us, as much as the more transitional texts. The music made us smile, as did all the white, yellow, and orange flowers. Things felt green and whole.

Perfect Is An Understatement
Honestly, it was a perfect day. I know all brides say that, but it really, truly was. We felt peaceful, happy, and—most importantly—present. We wanted to have an experience where the people we love could get a glance at the world we’ve created for each other. It was a fun wedding, where our friends never left the dance floor! And even though we expected (but it’s by no means a guarantee), we had the most fun at our wedding.

Wedding Advice For Nearlyweds
Wedding planning is hard. It is a joyful time and tests a relationship in the ways only an intense year-long project can. We felt like we were doing everything wrong, until we finally spoke up to our other engaged friends and realized they were having a hard time too. So it’s ok for it to be difficult. It’s ok to feel overwhelmed by the choices, your families, even your partner. But once you’ve accounted for as many possibilities as you can, you have to let it go. We stopped worrying the Wednesday before and quit all decision making. It allowed us to feel calm, and present to experience our special weekend.

Tears of Joy And A Fun Surprise
There were all these incredible moments: turning to see each other at the altar, whispering little things during the ceremony to each other, walking out to Real Love, getting mobbed by our friends and then chastised because they all cried! To top it all off, dancing was unforgettable—even more so when we busted out in our suits!

Congratulations to Rebecca and Claudia on your wedding and cheers to a lifetime of fun memories! Thank you to Junebug member Nikk Nguyen Photo for capturing and sharing this beautiful ceremony with us. Get inspired by this colorful and opulent wedding and this old hollywood glam wedding because we do love a good reception outfit change.

When most people think of a State Capitol wedding, they probably think of a small elopement or a private civil ceremony. But Liliana and Cesar’s Texas State Capitol wedding included 250 guests for some not-so-traditional courthouse “I do’s.” With the help of planner XO Moreau Weddings, the couple turned the House Chambers into a romantic backdrop using only burgundy and ivory florals from Stems Floral Design to enhance the natural beauty of the space.
After tying the knot, the newlyweds, accompanied by Mariachi Relampago, held their first dance in the Capitol’s rotunda, surrounded by hundreds–talk about a memorable detail. We love that they continued the party at the Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt, where they drank, danced, and enjoyed a cake replica of the Texas Capitol building created by Michelle’s Patisserie. Oh, and did we mention that this was the first Hispanic couple to say their vows in the State Capitol? There’s nothing like making memories and history.

Using The Texas State Capitol As Decor Inspiration
The architecture and design of the House Floor is so intricate, and a lot of the elements we couldn’t move (House Representative desks, chairs, podiums, etc), so we structured the ceremony design to enhance the natural beauty of the space. The florals matched perfectly with the draping behind the podium and were carefully placed to frame the space where Liliana & Cesar said “I do.”

A First Dance In The Heart of it All
Mariachi Relampago led Liliana & Cesar from their first kiss, down a grand staircase, and into the rotunda for their first dance. Hundreds of people stood on the balconies of all levels in the rotunda to watch and cheer. The mariachis then took Liliana, Cesar, and all 250 wedding guests outside to continue the performance and celebrations.

When wedding planner and Junebug member Epoch Co+ asked Ryann and Michael what aesthetic they wanted for their wedding, Ryann immediately thought of the kids she works with. She wanted a calm, soothing environment similar to her classroom, so she chose a natural and earth tone wedding—talk about a truly adorable and unforgettable aesthetic.
From the ceremony in a field of green and a reception at a repurposed factory with floral chandeliers, every inch of this wedding was calm, soothing, and beautiful. To top it off, their reception was drenched in light from a golden sunset. Get ready to “see skies of blue and clouds of white” and let photos by Century Tree Co whisk you away.

Natural And Earth Toned Colors
When Heather asked us about the aesthetic we were hoping to achieve, I thought of my classroom at school. Since I’m a speech therapist and work with children with special needs, my classroom is decorated with colors found in nature (blues, greens, browns) to help calm my kids. We wanted our wedding to be calming, soothing, relaxing with a natural color palette, and Heather really helped us achieve a simple and elegant wedding.

The Happiest Newlyweds
My favorite part of the day was when Michael and I walked down the aisle together after we’d gotten married. There was such relief and excitement knowing we were finally married and got to go enjoy our guests and have a big party to celebrate!

Special Texas-Made Memories
One of the most memorable parts of our wedding were the cotton fields that looked like they had been dusted with snow—it was magical! I loved dancing at the reception in cowboy boots to Garth Brooks’s “Friends in Low Places” while the whole crowd sang. My brother-in-law ordained the ceremony which was really special and read Michael’s mom’s favorite poem.

Wedding Planning Advice For Nearlyweds
Hire a wedding planner. Wedding planners are worth the money and keep you from stressing. Seriously, you can always pay off a credit card later and you will have the memories of your wedding for the rest of your life. Let you and your family enjoy these special moments. Put your wedding in the hands of professionals and let go! With a little bit of guidance, they can do their job and blow you away. It’s only once in your life that you get that moment. Go big and hire a wedding planner!

Congratulations again to Ryann and Michael on their beautiful earth tone wedding. Big shout out to Junebug member Epoch Co+ for sharing this day with us and for Century Tree Co. for capturing this beautiful ceremony. If you loved this wedding as much as we did, check out more of Epoch Co+’s work in their profile in our directory of wedding planners around the world!
